Adobe Course Synopsis for Introduction to Framemaker Introduction
Are you working with long and complex documents? Adobe FrameMaker is the software of choice for professional technical writers. ThinkBIGLearnSmart's two-day class is designed for the new FrameMaker user, and for those who are using the program, but feel like they are struggling to complete their work in a timely manner. Introduction to Adobe FrameMaker focuses on the core features of document publishing with Adobe FrameMaker.

Who Should Attend the Introduction to Framemaker Introduction Training Class
People who have the ability to work in a PC and/or Mac OS environment.

Prerequisites
We recommend that students should be comfortable using a mouse, opening and saving files, and the general operations of computers.

What You Will Learn in this Introduction to Framemaker Introduction Training Class
• Learn to author documents in Adobe FrameMaker
• Learn to define paragraph formats in Adobe FrameMaker
• Learn to define character formats in Adobe FrameMaker
• Learn to layout pages in Adobe FrameMaker
• Learn to include graphics in FrameMaker documents
• Learn advanced editing features of FrameMaker
• Learn to create and customize tables in FrameMaker
• Learn to create cross references and indexes in FrameMaker
• Learn to create books in FrameMaker
• Learn to work with conditional text in FrameMaker
• Learn to convert FrameMaker documents to PDF and HTML

Time
Class time is 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. Doors open at 8:00 a.m.  Continental Breakfast and Lunch is provided both days as part of our 'Collaborative Learning Luncheon'.  Breaks are scheduled at approximately 10:00 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.  Lunch is from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

As an Adobe Authorized Training Center, you can rely having Adobe Certified Instructors, who are also Senior Consultants in the field, as your teacher.  Adobe Official Curriculum course materials are provided as part of the training. Our goal is to make sure your class meets your objectives, not ours. Therefore, all of our outlines are treated as guides to help steer the workshop. We may change or alter course topics to best suit the students needs taking the training.
