Course Synopsis for Dreamweaver Advanced
ThinkBIGLearnSmart's Adobe Dreamweaver Advanced Application Development course provides students with the knowledge and hands-on practice they need to build and manage dynamic websites using Dreamweaver. In this Dreamweaver course, you'll learn how to connect to a database, search and display results, and build a page to update the database. If you've always dreamed of building a more advanced, data-powered site, but didn't know where to start, then ThinkBIGLearnSmart's course is for you.
Who Should Attend the Dreamweaver Advanced Training Class
People who have the ability to work in a PC and/or Mac OS environment.
Prerequisites
We recommend that students should be comfortable using a mouse, opening and saving files, and the general operations of computers.
What You Will Learn in this Dreamweaver Advanced Training Class
• Working with CSS layouts
• relative vs. absolute positioning.
• Adding & Customizing Spry Menu Widgets
• Building XHTML/CSS- based navigation from the ground up
• Defining PHO/MySQL server environment in Dreamweaver
• Working with server side includes
• Working with databases to create dynamic data driven pages
• Building Data Entry Systems to Add/Update/Delete records
• Authenticating Users with a login page
• Working with XML Ajax/Spry Datasets
• Adding a form and FormMail Script
• Building layout with AP Elements
• Working with Adobe Dreamweaver JavaScript Behaviors
• Installing additional extensions and Spry Widgets
Time
Class time is 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Continental Breakfast and Lunch is provided both days as part of our 'Collaborative Learning Luncheon'. Breaks are scheduled at approximately 10:00 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Lunch is from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Adobe Official Curriculum course materials are provided as part of the training. Our goal is to make sure your class meets your objectives, not ours. Therefore, all of our outlines are treated as guides to help steer the workshop. We may change or alter course topics to best suit the students needs taking the training.
